Will my jewelry tarnish?

Our products are 18k(18 karat) gold plated with a base of brass and coated by another layer of anti-tarnish. Beyond that, all of our jewelry is nickel free which is usually responsible for skin irritation. Thus, know that it is safe for adults and children prone to skin irritation.

There are several factors contributing to the jewelry tarnishing. Wearing your jewelry when you hit the gym or do your daily chores may result in a faster tarnishing process. One’s pH balance may play a role in the jewelry tarnishing as well. Lastly, beauty products, such as perfume, lotion, etc. may also result in the jewelry tarnishing faster. With these factors taken into consideration, our jewelry’s bling will last from a range of 4-6 months or longer depending upon one’s use. 

To make our jewelry last long, we recommend the following:

1. Take off your jewelry when you bath or exercise.
2. Apply your jewelry last when dressing up.
3. Use alcohol-free wet wipes to wipe your jewelry after every use to keep its bling.
4. Softly scrub the jewelry with a sponge and rinse off with water.
